MUNCIE, IN – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Amber’s Beauty School, one of Indiana’s oldest cosmetology schools, is extending transfer options to students affected by the recent closure of Regency Beauty Institute campuses across Indiana.
“Where we do understand the difficulties involved in operating a successful cosmetology school in today’s world, our hearts really go out to students, parents and staff affected by the abrupt closure of Regency. This is an unfortunate situation for many and we want to help” said Brian Shrieve, Amber’s Beauty School’s President/CEO. “We hope our transfer program, affordable tuition and central location will be a great resource for displaced students looking to continue their career plans in cosmetology.”
Amber’s Beauty School is located near the Ball State University campus in Muncie, Indiana offering students a unique educational experience. With over a 75 year history, Amber’s is considered one of Indiana’s oldest and most respected institutions.
Cosmetology transfer students are always accepted at Amber’s Beauty School and special consideration will be given to students transferring from Regency campuses. The student must obtain an official transcript of hours, progress and testing in order to be given proper credit.
Once the transcript is received, the student must schedule a time to visit Amber’s to fill out a transfer application. The transferring student will pay tuition at an hourly rate for the remainder of the hours required by the Indiana Cosmetology Board. Transfer students are also required to have, or purchase the required equipment kit and text books.
