At Amber’s, we offer both a full time and a part time option for our students. The following outlines the class schedule for each program we offer:
Cosmetology: Full Time
Length of course: 1500 hours, or 52 weeks
Hours per week: 38 hours
Weekly Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 9AM – 5PM, Saturday 7:45AM – 2PM
Cosmetology: Part Time
Length of course: 1500 hours, or 80 weeks
Hours per week: 22 hours
Weekly Schedule: Pick one of the following options:
Tuesday-Friday 9AM – 1PM, Saturday 7:45AM – 2PM
Tuesday-Friday 12PM – 5PM, Saturday 7:45AM – 2PM
Any 2 full days (9AM-5PM), Saturday 7:45AM – 2PM
Cosmetology: Part Time, High School Credit
Length of course: 1500 hours, or 80 weeks
Hours per week: 22-38 hours
Weekly Schedule: Tuesday – Friday: dependent upon school schedule, Saturday 7:45AM – 2PM
Nail Technician
Length of course: 450 hours, or 25 weeks
Hours per week: 22-38 hours
Weekly Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, dependent upon individual schedule
Cosmetology: Instructor
Length of course: 1000 hours, or 30 weeks
Hours per week: 22-38 hours, about 33 hours on average
Weekly Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, dependent upon individual schedule
Cosmetology: Refresher/Transfer
Length of course: Dependent upon individual
Hours per week: 22-38 hours
