Where are they now?!
Meet Laura James! She is a 2013 graduate of Amber’s Beauty School and is a successful employee at Redhead Salon Boutique in Muncie, IN. Redhead Salon Boutique is a commission salon with an apprenticeship program and ongoing education. Laura’s favorite memory of beauty school was meeting her friend Katy Ross on the first day of school when Bennie Pollard came to speak with all of the students.
Laura is currently a stylist at Redhead. Her goal is to become a senior stylist with a full time apprentice. Her biggest inspiration is all of the girls she works with at Redhead. Laura says she has the utmost respect for all of them and can see how all of their hard work has resulted in their success. Most of all she is inspired by her boss, Brooke, for leading by example and building her Redhead empire.
Laura’s advice to current students: “Take school seriously! Show up everyday, on time, and pretend like it’s your job. Take pride in your school and always be willing to lend a hand.”
